Their is a Timber Trail where you can enjoy Biking through the Pureora Forest Park, which will take you over suspension bridges where you can enjoy the scenery of ravines and rivers. This trail is an Easy Grade 2 to an Intermediate Grade 3. We ask that you prepare yourself with all you need for your day, to ensure you have water and food provisions and inform someone that you are doing the trail. You should take with you Warm clothing and wet weather gear as the track passes through 1000 ft above sea level at points. You should always be aware that weather changes rapidly in New Zealand. The small Town Magakimo is located on the Shores of Lake Maraetai and near to Hydro Dams and Lakes of Atiamuri, Waipara, Whakamaru and Ohakuri.
