The City of Whanganui is situated on the West Coast of our North Island and is located on the Durie Hill and this leads to an Elevator of Historic importance and is the only underground Elevator in New Zealand that is in daily use. Why not take a trip to the top platform to see wondrous views of the Tasmen Sea.
You can visit The Bridge to Nowhere, which is situated in the Whanganui National Park, the bridge is concreted but on either side there are no roads or signs, so a remote bridge in the middle of nowhere.
