Day 1 - Arrival Christchurch - Meet & Greet with Transfer to Accommodation
Day 1 - Christchurch - 5 Star Hotel with Super King Executive Double Room with En-suite for 1 Night
Day 2 - Christchurch - Transfer to Christchurch Station for Tranz Alpine Scenic Train to Greymouth (we suggest Breakfast on the Train due to your early departure from the hotel)
Day 2 - Greymouth - Collect Rental Car Toyota Camera Automatic - Drive to Franz Josef via Hokitika a perfect place for a Coffee Latte and to explore the shops for Greenstone, called Pounamu by the Maori
Day 2 - Franz Josef Glacier - 5 Star Lodge with Super King Double with En-suite to include Evening 5 Course Degustation Dinner and Breakfast for 1 Night
Day 2 - Franz Josef Glacier - General Entry to Glacier Hot Pools in Rain Forest Setting
Day 3- Franz Josef Glacier - Drive to Wanaka, on the route, there are many scenic delights that we will be sharing with you, Lake Matheson, Waterfalls, Petrified Forest, King Penguins and blue pools.
Day 3 - Wanaka - Boutique Bed & Breakfast with Loft Suite with King Bed, Living area, Bathroom to include Breakfast for 2 Nights
Day 4 - Wanaka - Morning Eco Cruise to Mou Waho Island with a guided walk to a scenic vista where you will have morning tea with the Weka Bird, before planting a tree and learning of the island and seeing how the glaciers formed what you are seeing today.
Day 5 - Wanaka - Drive to Queenstown via Cardrona Range Road or via Cromwell and the Otago Wine Region
Day 5 - Queenstown - Boutique Bed & Breakfast with Cardrona Mount view / En-suite to include Evening Drink and Breakfast for 2 Nights
Day 6 - Queenstown - Morning Drive to Glenorchy driving on New Zealand second most scenic drive, on arrival you will check-in for Dart River fun yaks that includes Jet Boat up into the Mt Aspiring National Park, then on Fun Yak Canoes you gently glide down the river to a lunch spot, after you will visit a Natural Gorge with Azule Blue Water and waterfall. After you will make your way downriver to where your tour ends.
Day 7 - Queenstown - Drive to Te Anau along beautiful Lake Wakatipu
Day 7 - Te Anau - Boutique Bed & Breakfast with a Lakeview Room / En-suite - Guest Lounge to include Evening Drink and Breakfast for 2 Nights
Day 8 - Te Anau - Drive to Milford Sound - 2 Hours each way with Cruise on Milford Sound to include Picnic Lunch and a visit to the Discovery Centre. On route back to Te Anau there are many short to medium scenic walks to scenic vista's, waterfalls and alpine meadows that we will share with you
Day 9 - Te Anau - Drive to Dunedin, today you can choose the faster 4 Hour drive or the longer route via the scenic Catlins, taking you via the wild coast, allow 7 hours for this route, but well worth it if you leave early after breakfast
Day 9 - Dunedin - Boutique Bed & Breakfast Lodge with King Bed with En-suite to include an evening drink and Breakfast for 2 Nights
Day 10 - Dunedin - Morning to explore Dunedin and it's beautiful victorian buildings / at 3.00pm you will be collected from your accommodation for a Wildlife tour to the Otago Peninsula, where you will see Royal Albatross then visit a private conservation beach where you will see Yellow Eyed Penguins, Blue Penguins, Seals and Sealions - Please note this involves walking down a hill, there is a lighter option where you can be driven down the hill, please advise when booking.
Day 11 - Dunedin - Drive to Akaroa up the East Coast, stopping at the Moeraki Boulders, Oamaru an old Banking town with the most stunning ornate white sandstone buildings. well worth a stop for lunch and to explore.
Day 11 - Akaroa - Boutique Bed & Breakfast with Queens Double Room and En-suite to include Evening Drink and Breakfast for 1 Night.
Day 12 - Akaroa - Morning Swim with the Hector Dolphins / After Lunch make your way to Christchurch Airport where you will drop your rental car and proceed to check-in for your International flights or internal flight via Auckland
